My Brother Brandon

On March 9th, 2025, I came back to my apartment after spending the weekend at home. Before I left home, my parents took me grocery shopping; I did a full restock of everything that I normally get. I had the bright idea to dump all 10 bags of groceries into one large freezer bag, so instead of having to take multiple trips from the parking lot to my kitchen, I could just take one big bag. My parents told me that I wouldn’t be able to carry it- it was super heavy. I told them I would be fine and went about my way.

When I got back to the parking lot, late at night, I parked next to this teal-ish, blue-ish Prius that had also just parked. Out of that Prius came a tall guy wearing a Toy Story Land costume, and he looked over his car to my little Mini Cooper with flower stickers and purple LEDs, and he said something along the lines of “hey, I really like your car, that’s really cool!” So I looked at this man, complete stranger, could possibly kill me in the dead of night that it was, and I said, “thanks! Could you help me carry my groceries inside?”

And that was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Brandon is a really cool guy. He’s originally from Michigan, and this is his third program. He’s a merch baby, like me, but at Hollywood Studios! His first two programs he was photopass at Epcot, which makes sense for him; he’s a photographer! He’s really creative, and so talented, and he has no limits. He’s a photographer, he makes music, and he vlogs! And so much more!!! We went to Celebration one morning, and he took some pictures of me and the overalls I had just finished making (and vlogged it too!) !!!

So, as the world knows, I just recently turned 21, and as part of my grand celebration, my friends and I all went to Epcot to drink around the world, a Disney Adult right of passage. Brandon (a.k.a BJ) and his creative mind vlogged the whole experience!!!! It was funny, loud, sad, crazy, sentimental, and fun. I may be biased, but it’s my favorite video he’s made- and he’s made a lot of good ones.

BJ is funny, and kind, and creative, and such a great friend. I’m really lucky to have him in my life and be someone that can inspire me or just fall asleep on my rug. We have a tradition of sorts of throwing on a movie or playing a game and baking some cookies with my roommate and our friends, and it’s usually the highlight of my week. He’s become someone that I can look up, and I’m proud to call him my friend. I hope you tune into his beats, his vlogs, and whatever else he dreams up. i love my big bro and I hope you will to!!!!

xoxo, Willianny
