My Win-sical Week

Hi party people!!! I’m writing to you for the first time from my new home- a lovely little apartment I share with Brandon and Isabella. As the first full week of 2026 came to an end yesterday, I had a pretty great week! So, here’s some of my little ‘wins for the week.’

I went to the gym!

Since moving to Central Florida, I’ve gone to the gym sporadically. Back home, I was fairly consistent. My main goal was to just have some physical activity in my daily routine; I wasn’t necessarily becoming the next great bodybuilder, but I went to the gym as often as I was feeling up for it. These days, I get myself there once every few weeks or so, don’t make time to go back the next day, and then just give up until the next time I’m feeling motivated again. I did the same thing last Monday, but since it was the first Monday of the year, I was feeling extra motivated and thought this would be a great time to force consistency upon myself. So I went back on Tuesday. I mainly enjoy going to the gym because it gives me a chance to stretch my body, do some exercise, and just get moving. It feels like a productive use of my time, too, so whenever I’m done, I feel great. I went to the gym four times last week, up three times from every other week I went last year. I’m excited to go tomorrow. I’m going to go to the gym at my new apartment complex, which has a sauna!!! I’ve missed having a sauna at the gym dearly, it used to be my favorite part of finishing a workout when I lived at home. I’m going to try my hardest to keep moving this year and keep getting my exercise, in more ways than one. I want to take a dance class and get back into yoga, go on more walks, and try to build up my stamina when it comes to running. I also want to go back home one of these Sundays and make an appearance in the family softball games!!

I moved!

Right, I moved! As my Disney College Program comes to an end this week, and my part-time role starts soon after, I’m not able to stay in my sweet and dear-to-me CP housing. So, I had to move! My friend Brandon introduced me to his friend Isabella, and we found a lovely and beautiful apartment for the three of us. I spent a lot of time last week moving, and did a lot of it myself! My parents helped me of course, while they were here, but I’m proud to say I did most of the heavy lifting! My room is perfect to me; I have a spacious closet and huge windows that my bed sits perfectly underneath. I love our balcony the most. Since we’re on a corner, it’s so big! I’m super excited to get some furniture out there. This is my first real, big-girl apartment, and even though I loved my CP apartment and it holds so many memories, I’m excited for this new chapter I’ve found myself in. It’s nice to have a new beginning during the new year- the most new beginning of all new beginnings, and especially now that I’m entering a new role, going back to (a new) school, I love having a new space and new environment.

I was nice at work!

This is my blog and my safe space and my confessional, so I can say whatever I want, okay? Don’t tell my leaders. Sometimes, a lot of the time, people really try my kindness and my patience at work. It takes effort to be a good person. I’m happy to say that I put in the effort this week. There was a lot of moments this week where I was annoyed, irritated, belittled, and just mad, but I powered through!! I didn’t say anything mean to anyone, I didn’t snap at any guests or look at my coworkers like they’re insane. I was kind! And it made me feel great! That’s a win in my book. I want to work hard to be a kind person, I oftentimes feel as though I’m not, and that sucks. But this year, I’m going to make more of an effort to enjoy my life and what I’m doing, and enjoy the company of the people around me, even if the circumstances are less than ideal. Complaining never did anything but make you feel worse. So, I’m going to keep killing them with kindness!

Overall, I had a pretty great first week of 2026!!! I watched Marty Supreme in theaters, brought my best friend from home up for a park day, and unfortunately, had to say goodbye to the sweetest girl in Fantasyland. I love u Reyna. I’m excited to see where this week takes me- I start classes, have my final pixie dusting, and I’m going to auditions (!!!). Plz let me know how your week went, and I’ll see you soon.

xoxo, Willianny
