Happy New Year!!!! Yesterday, before I went to celebrate with my family, I wrote down 25 goals that had been floating around in my head for quite awhile. I wrote them down in my journal, and I started planning out some things I can do in January to make progress toward them. 25 is definitely a lot, but they’re doable- so here’s my resolutions for 2025, in no particular order.

  1. Move into an apartment (with one of my best friends, Alyson)

  2. Pay off my car (I have about $5,000 left)

  3. Figure out my future career

  4. Pay off my personal student loans

  5. Be in the sun for at least five minute every single day

  6. Go on a vacation (I’m hoping New York, but maybe somewhere new)

  7. Go to the move theater at least once a week

  8. Write a blog post (!!!) at least once a month

  9. Read 25 books

  10. Have a good reset-style day once a week

  11. Get into running (vague and cliche yes, but I love running)

  12. Save $5,000

  13. Build my physical media collection

  14. Get formally diagnosed (lol)

  15. Go to church once a month

  16. Figure out cycle syncing

  17. Go to yoga class once a week

  18. Go to dance class once a week

  19. Volunteer more (every 1-2 months)

  20. Make something new once a month (painting, jewelry, etc.)

  21. Not buy any clothes firsthand

  22. Talk to/ see my cousins once a month

  23. One song a day (as a Spotify playlist)

  24. Start a photo album

  25. Become an average drummer (I’m a beginner now)

Like I said, I’ve already started planning to do some of these things in January. I’ll be going to see two movies this week, I’m going to church with my sister on Sunday, and I might actually be taking a small little trip to see my cousin Alexa while she visits her mom in Miami. And of course, I’m writing a blog post 🙂
